In addition to our online parent communication system, we hold Parent Conferences twice a year, in November and in May. Parents meet with teachers for a half hour to review the Progress Checkpoints report on their child.
Foundations teachers complete a baseline assessment two weeks after the beginning of the school year. This baseline is then compared to a Progress Checkpoint three months later, presented at the Winter Parent/Teacher conference. The 3rd Progress Checkpoint occurs in February, followed by the final Progress Checkpoint, presented at the Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences in May. Our goal is keep you continually informed of your child’s progress, as well as to partner with you in planning your child’s future learning goals.
Developmental Summary includes objectives met and observations of learning milestones in the areas of Social/Emotional, Cognitive, Physical, and Language
Observations are sent to parents via email at the time they are made, then compiled and included in the conference report to show progression over time
