Teachers
Angie Tuten is the Elementary Program Cooridinator and teaches a class as well. All teachers in the Elementary Program are Education degreed teachers. In the After-School program, the teachers are pursuing Early Childhood Education degrees.
Angie graduated in May 2000 from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Upon graduation she went back to school to receive her certification for early childhood. Her experience teaching children began over 12 years ago when she coached children ages 1 to 18 in gymnastics. It was this experience that led her to pursue an exciting, challenging, rewarding and loving teaching career. She enjoys making a positive difference in children's lives.
She taught kindergarten at Acworth Elementary until having her first child. She states "I was able to return to my career when I found the Foundations school because he is benefiting from being here as a student. I am looking forward to my second son learning and growing with the friends and teachers at Foundations. The rare perspective that I bring to Foundations is from my position as the team director and coach at the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta. I understand what it takes to develop excellence and I gladly lend this knowledge to both the operations at the Foundations center and to the children that I teach here every day."
Angie has been teaching at Foundations since 2004, and she became an administrator at Foundations in 2005.

Future in 2006.Ê During her time at FFTF Amy has been with the Dolphin's Classroom, both with the 2-3 year old and 3-4 year old age groups, as well
